- I work in animation. I've been doing this for over 25 years, and have met a lot of really cool people. I've been really lucky in my career (so far, knock on wood) and have been taught by some incredibly talented artists. I try to keep a positive outlook, even though I can be a jaded old fart. I've been a supervisor in both traditional and computer animation and I've also done a lot of visual development, story development and design. I've directed T.V. shows, commercials, and supervised entire productions (2D and 3D) from boarding through Layout and animation (and clean-up in 2D animation). I've also worked in live action, as well as consulting on intellectual properties. Animating is in my genes I think. I do it whether I'm paid to or not. Everyone is a little nutty in some way, I guess this is mine. I'm not in it for the money, I'm in it for love, man.

Everybody does Chris, at least once (work for Satan). Do they still give out free lunches in hell ?
I don't remember any free lunches, but I'm pretty sure all the kicks in the ass were free, for someone anyway....

Wasn't it you that consistently made the kicks to the ass/genitalia quota? There were an awful lot of blood curdling cries of agony coming from yer guy's cavern as you tried to convince the old lady that a polar bear cub does in fact make a fine pet, until they get older, then suddenly you look more like a tasty seal than a caring old woman...

Chris, you should stop surfin' blogs and put up more drawins'! These are great and I need to see more!
Don't tell anyone, but they're not really my drawings. I actually pay my kids to do them, and I just say they're mine. The drawings I do are far, far uglier. The kids are threatening to go on strike though and demanding another trip to Chuck E Cheese. Oh the sacrifices we make for our art...
